Girls II Women Grad Earns College Scholarship

Stoquandria Inman is on her way to Florida Memorial University in Miami Gardens this fall, thanks in part to a $500 scholarship from Girls II Women.

A graduate of Glades Central High School, Stoquandria became involved with Girls II Women when she was in sixth grade at Lake Shore Middle School. She participated in a variety of activities, including several college tours, through the organization, which helped her set higher-education and career goals and led her to select FMU, the only historically black university in southern Florida.

The board members and friends of Girls II Women will continue to offer Stoquandria support and mentorship throughout her educational endeavors and her career.

Congratulations, Stoquandria!
